Tabitha's Flat Stanley

Tabitha sent her Flat Stanley to visit her Aunt Rhonda in western Michigan. Aunt Rhonda took Flat Stanley to Lake Michigan. Even though it was cold, Flat Stanley enjoyed walking the beach and hearing the waves crash on the shore.

 

Next, they visited a sand dune called Mt. Baldhead in Saugatuck, Michigan. 

Aunt Rhonda also took Flat Stanley to Holland, Michigan to see an authentic Dutch Windmill. The De Zwaan is the only authentic working Dutch windmill in the United States!

Thank you, Aunt Rhonda, for a great time!

Zane's Flat Stanley

              

Zane’s Flat Stanley traveled south to Florida to visit his Aunt Jaime. 

Aunt Jaime took Flat Stanley to Mote Aquarium in Sarasota. They saw many sea creatures there! 

They also visited the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. 

They saw plants, wildlife and statues there. 

Flat Stanley also visited the beach at Anna Maria Island. 

Thank you, Aunt Jaime, for sending us seashells from Florida! 

Caroline's Flat Stanley

Caroline sent her Flat Stanley to visit her cousins, Andrew and Matthew. 

Andrew and Matthew took Flat Stanley with them to visit Chicago, Illinois. The hotel was right across from the Fashion Outlets of Chicago.

 Flat Stanley and the boys enjoyed watching the airplanes go by since they were so close to the airport! 

Flat Stanley also enjoyed going to a candy shop called The Sugar Factory!

Keren's Flat Stanley

Keren sent her Flat Stanley all the way to Murrieta, California to visit the Slimer family! Flat Stanley enjoyed attending Kindergarten with Adelyn. 

Flat Stanley learned all about soccer by watching Adelyn’s team, the Pokemon Grasshoppers! 

The Slimer family enjoyed a fun weekend in San Diego on Coronado Island. They enjoyed the beach and a safari park!

Unfortunately, Adelyn had to go to the dentist several times during his trip but Flat Stanley kept her company.  

Flat Stanley had a great time! Thanks, Slimer Family!

Ellie Burbrink

Ellie sent her Flat Stanley to visit her Mamaw and Papaw Hoeltke who spend the winter in Lake Placid, Florida. 

 

Flat Stanley enjoyed fishing in Lake Clay. 

Flat Stanley also visited the Gulf of Mexico where he hunted sea shells and played in the sand. 

Flat Stanley traveled to Tampa and St. Petersburg on a Ferry boat ride, too. 

 

Flat Stanley was glad he could travel back to Indiana with Mamaw and Papaw in the car instead of an envelope! They stopped to visit cousins in Tennessee. 

He was glad to be back in Indiana and see the Hoeltke Farm. 

He enjoyed Easter with the family and Josie’s confirmation.  

Trevor's Flat Stanley

Trevor’s Flat Stanley traveled all the way to Yuma, Arizona to visit Grandma and Grandad Ayers.

 It is really hot and dry there because Yuma is in the westernmost part of the Sonoran Desert. 

This is a Park Ranger that told Flat Stanley about the cacti.

Flat Stanley saw a roadrunner and many other interesting animals. 

Grandma and Grandad took Flat Stanley on MANY adventures including a trip across the border into Mexico!  

Flat Stanley also visited the Saguaro National Park near Tucson. Look at this big cactus Flat Stanley saw there!
